Is Become a therapy or medical app?

No. Become is a behavior-change and habit-building app. We use evidence-backed techniques (CBT-style grounding, self-compassion exercises, motivational interviewing tone) but we are not a covered entity, we don't handle PHI, and we don't diagnose. When the conversation crosses into crisis territory, we route to real human help: 988, Crisis Text Line, SAMHSA, and findahelpline.com globally.

What's the SUPP! tab inside the app?

SUPP! is the social-dare brand inside Become. When you turn a habit into a challenge with a friend ("30-day Read 10 pages, loser buys the round"), that lives in the SUPP! Challenges tab. SUPP! has its own visual identity (the orange) and its own viral mechanic: when a dare settles, a SUPP! Receipt card drops. You'll know it when you see it.

How does the creator video library work?

Creators in your verticals — golf, fitness, parenting, writing, mindfulness — record short videos (15–180 seconds) for specific voice + mood combinations. When you hit a low moment, Become surfaces a video from someone you already follow or trust. Creators earn a revenue share weighted by completed plays (not just opens). It's the antidote to scrolling content: their voice when you need them, not in your feed.

The 1,000 cap exists because that's the right size for a community we can actually know by handle. The 60-day window closes because honest scarcity beats fake scarcity. We never reopen, because doing so would cheapen what the first 1,000 did. Bargain-hunters won't buy this. The people who do are the ones who want to tell everyone they helped launch this.

Will my data ever be used to train AI?

No. We use Anthropic's API under their commercial terms, which explicitly exclude user content from training. We screen everything we send (emails and phone numbers are stripped; crisis-level text never reaches the model). Release text is never sent at all — it's processed entirely on device.

When does the beta open?

We're aiming for Q3 2026, with a small closed cohort first (Joe's golf crew plus extended network) and then a creator-driven public launch in Q4. Sign up for the email list at the top of this page and we'll let you know when an invite is ready.
